If you currently have an agreement with another property manager that you’d like to terminate, see below:

1.     Check your current property management contract to see what type of notice is required.  Typically, you will be required to give a 30 day written notice after the exclusive period ends.   Many property management companies will accept a shorter notice if they know you are unhappy.

2.     Compose a brief letter as follows:  “Please terminate your services on ______________ (property address), effective __________ (date).  A representative of Westside Property Management will contact you prior to the termination date to pick up keys, records and any pertinent files.  Please send remaining funds in my account directly to me including tenant security deposits.”

3.     Mail, Fax, or email the letter and send a copy to Westside Property Management
